Just like that. How did nine weeks go by already? We have
been extraordinarily busy, that’s how!
Here is the highlight reel:
We have investigated matter by torturing Jell-O. Oh, how can one torture Jell-o? We poked it,
cut it, smelled it, mashed it, tried to shake it and dump it out of the
container and much to my mortification, licked it off of our (by our, I mean
they… and I tried to warn them of the dangers of licking one’s fingers in an
elementary school, eeeewww) fingers.
Then we froze it and tried to do all the things we did to it when it was not
frozen including…sigh…licking our fingers. Then we melted it with just the heat
energy in the air. The result was shocking!
These little scientists made some
amazing observations.
We were in the paper! Twice!

We traveled the state of Georgia…in the hallway and we have
broken our own personal best records time and time again!
Whew…we needed Fall Break!
Hang on tight…the pumpkins are coming!
